TRIVIUM Guitarist Checks In

July 30, 2008

TRIVIUM guitarist Corey Beaulieu has posted a lengthy update on the band's official web site. A couple of excerpts follow.

"Mark your calendar September 1 is the date for the first 'official' album digital single that includes a music video for the track 'Down From The Sky'. We shot the video last week with director Ramon Boutviseth who worked with us on the 'Becoming the Dragon' video.

"The 'Down From The Sky' video shoot was great, by far the BEST most efficient video experience we have ever had and feel we really captured exactly what we set out to do so def will be the best video we have done by far!

"We just announced our upcoming North American tour with ALL THAT REMAINS. We have toured a few times with ALL THAT REMAINS, in fact one of our very first tours four years ago was with ALL THAT REMAINS, so it's going to be fun to hit the road again with them. I have been talking online to many of you at Trivium World [TRIVIUM's official fan club] and we know a lot of people are complaining about the tour routing and are asking why we aren't coming to this city or that city, all we can say is be patient!!

"We will have another major tour announcement soon. This tour will be another North American tour and we will hit all the major markets, it is this pending announcement tour that has placed restrictions on what cities we could and couldn't play on this tour. We definitely want to play everywhere we can and hit all the cities we can but this is just how things work, so if we missed your city or area on this run we are going to be back this is just the start of the 'Shogun' touring cycle, so keep an eye out there will be many more tour dates added within the next month."
